The Bravos play two 7-inning games today against the Phillies. Game 1 starter for Atlanta will be Huascar Ynoa, & Max Fried will start Game 2.
I think we’re all pretty confident that Fried will bring us to victory in Game 2, so I’ll not harp on that one so much; with the exception of pointing out that the outfield is where we’ll see the most change from Game 1’s alignment.
Now Game 1…
Ynoa isn’t exactly a guy that fills Braves fans with confidence. BUT, the organization has shown over the past few years that the guys they bring in to fill gaps usually work out pretty well. So, until this current organization’s decision-makers give me a reason to not trust them, that’s exactly what I’ll do.
Snitker was on record yesterday evening as saying that most of the bullpen will be ready to go in Game 1 thanks to Friday’s game being rained out & Kyle Wright going 6 innings yesterday.
So, here’s to Ynoa & Fried completing the Sunday Sweep of the Phils on the way to another series victory!
